Producing One-of-a-Kind Design

Great invitation and paperie design makes an event memorable from the first blush. And the best designs are as personal and unique as the event itself.

Our custom process has been developed to translate your vision for the event to unforgettable design.

Step 1: Complimentary Design Consultation

Each design starts with a consultation either in person or by phone. This is how we learn more about you and what you are trying to evoke in the design. We’ll ask lots of questions: What’s your theme? What’s the venue like? What kind of flowers will you have? What colors are you using?

For weddings and social occasions, we’ll ask questions about the couple or honoree. For corporate events, we’ll find out about your business goals. We’ll also discuss your options in materials and printing.

Feel free to provide us pictures of places, colors, etc. The more information, the better!

We’ll also ask about practical matters, like when you need your completed designs, what’s your budget and how many you need produced.

Step 2: Design Proposal

Based on what we discussed, we will put together a service proposal that includes costs, what we are producing and a schedule. Depending on how unique the design, we may need to do some additional research on materials and production to provide you the most accurate proposal.

Step 3: Design Concepts and Approval

Design begins when the proposal is signed and a deposit is paid. At this time, we will ask you for any invitation wording, text or pictures to include in the final design.

We will provide two to four design concepts. Based on your feedback, we will revise your chosen design concept to produce a final design.

Once the design is finalized, we will send you a digital proof to “sign off” and return to us with a signature by fax, email or mail. At this time, the balance is due.

Please proof carefully. Check spelling, typography and layout. Once you sign off, we are not responsible for errors or changes.

Step 4: Production and Assembly

At this time, we print and produce your design, including any assembly required to finalize the pieces.

Timing of delivery depends on how your design is being produced, the materials involved and your service agreement. Delivery can take between two weeks to two months.
